lost pup

blake & i found this lost pup yesterday evening.
no tags. no collar. no chip.

he was absolutely starving & appeared to have been outside through the storm...poor pup.
so blake hit up tom thumb for some dog food.
that's when he fell in love with blake. (he loved me from the beginning!)
we thought another storm was coming so we let him stay with us last night.
he was so obedient.
no pee. no poop. nothing.
he slept on a blanket in the middle of our living room floor the entire night.
we slept on the couches next to him.
(we are still out of power & since heat rises we were not about to go sleep upstairs!)

this morning we woke up & took him to city vet on oaklawn.
that's when we found out he didn't have a chip like we were hoping.
they couldn't keep him & we aren't completely excited about dropping him off at a shelter just yet. hmmm...
so now he is at the warehouse with blake & craig while they work.
in the mean time- i am making flyers, posting some ads, etc.

he seriously has to be one of the sweetest dogs ever...i mean look at those eyes.

so with all that said- who wants a pup!?

please let me know if you are interested or know someone who might be!!

awwe, this little guy is precious! He needs a good home and I would love to take him but we have enough animals as it is. I will be happy to ask around and let you know. PS - I love your blog and your photos are absolutely amazing. I am trying to start photography on the side - do you have any tips? Also, what photo editing software/program do you use?

hey amanda!

thanks for the compliments on the blog & photos. i appreciate the feedback! that is great you are interested in photography. i am pretty new myself...still have SOOO much to learn. i would really recommend buying a couple books & doing some research to truly understand your camera, lighting, etc. that's the hardest part of all and there is so much info! classes definitely wouldn't hurt either but i haven't taken that step yet. as far as editing software- i try to do as little editing as possible, ie: get the best shot naturally but when i do edit i use photoshop or lightroom.

hopefully we can find the pups owners or a nice home for him. i will keep you posted!

Lindsey & Blake!

You both cannot see the forest because of the trees...He sounds so sweet, potty trained & obedient and already loved by whom? You all! He/she already has a good home. Truly think about it. He will take you for walks and introduce you to more neighbors. hee hee

Please. There is a reason for all this...

He is precious! Like you, we found a stray that didn't have a chip, collar, no tags. It appears someone just dumped her out. We kept her for 3 months until a place at the humane socity (aka no-kill shelter) opened up. I hope you are able to find the original owners. I really hope you don't have to take him to the shelter.
