dublin

well i am finally over my jet lag...i think.
i can at least say i am staying up later than 8pm & not waking up at 5am on my own anymore.
phew!
anyway, i will attempt at selecting some of my favorite pics from the trip to europe.
below are some pictures from our time in dublin, ireland.
we were only there for a short 24 hour period before heading to our next stop.

our first evening, we roamed the streets of dublin.
we had an excellent meal not far from our hotel & because we had flown all night,
went to bed soon after.

the next morning we had a few hours to spare before heading to coolbawn quay.
here we are waiting in line to see the book of kells at trinity college.

it was quite fascinating seeing a prayer book so old & beautiful.

this is the type of weather we expected on our entire trip- rain and cold.
this ended up being the ONLY time it rained & that was only for a couple hours!
praise God!!
it made the trip that much more enjoyable!

then we made our way to the guiness brewery.
something you apparently can't miss when staying in dublin.

one you finish touring the brewery, you make your way to the top floor.

here you get your own fresh glass of guiness.

ehhh..not so much a fan.

but the experience was definitely worth it.

and now i can say i have had a guiness in dublin.

the entire top floor was all glass so you can only imagine the view was pretty amazing.

craig and blake were the drivers of the trip.

they did such a great job!

they had to drive on the left side of the road, driving a standard car with their left hand.

talk about confusing...glad i wasn't driving!
