progress- 36 week appointment

we had our 36 week check up today.
her heart beat was 130 bpm.
baby fusch has also made some progress...yay!
i am now 75% effaced and 2 cm dilated.
my doctor is still shocked at how low her head is & also said these are really good stats for a first time mom.
this doesn't exactly mean she WILL come early although there is a good chance she may.
i was really glad to know that there was some progress made because beginning 4 or 5 days ago, contractions have really started to pick up.
not only have i been having contractions pretty often but also cramping so i was glad to know they were actually doing something!
other than the contractions- which really haven't been painful and barely uncomfortable, i feel great.

we also met with the specialist one last time to make sure she was still growing since a few weeks ago she seemed very small.
everything looked perfect and she actually caught up to where she is supposed to be.
based on her measurements today, she weighs approx. 6.5 lbs.
they said if i go to my due date, she should weigh between 7 1/2 and 8 pounds.
i think i can handle that!

i can't tell you how much i have enjoyed being pregnant.
it's bittersweet in an odd way because i love everything about her being in me and have no complaints about being pregnant but of course i can't wait to meet her for the first time.
what an amazing moment that must be!

xoxo
