april showers bring may flowers

this weekend blake & i are relaxing out at the family lakehouse in mt. vernon, texas. it is always such a blessing to spend time at the lake- whether it's because of family or friends that come out to visit or simply because i get to catch some rays out on the dock. (my fav activity EVER!) however today i took a stroll through the neighborhood, with the camera in hand of course, and snapped a few pics of things that caught my eye. there were so many AMAZING flowers, i just couldn't resist... another reason to be thankful for all the rain we have had lately. four words: God's creation is beautiful!
